Farm to Table: Inside Our Nashik Sourcing Network

Every vegetable that reaches your doorstep has a story that starts long before harvest day. At MyVeggies, that story begins on one of 60+ family-run farms across Nashik and the Western Ghats, where three generations of growers have shifted from conventional to certified organic practice over the last decade.

Why seasonality matters

Seasonal produce isn't just a marketing phrase โ€” vegetables harvested at their natural peak carry measurably higher levels of vitamins and antioxidants, and require far less intervention to grow well. Our sourcing calendar is built entirely around what each region's soil and climate want to produce that month, not around what a spreadsheet demands.

"We don't tell our farmers what to grow. We ask them what's ready, and build the harvest calendar around their land."

Our sourcing checklist

Before any farm joins our network, it passes a three-stage audit: soil testing for pesticide residue, a documented two-year transition record, and a surprise on-site visit from our agronomist. Only then does produce start moving through our cold-chain logistics โ€” from field to packing center in under 6 hours, and to your door within 24.
